Facilities and Asset Management aspires to be an innovative leader in sustainable campus planning, design and facilities management. We work closely with students, faculty, staff, alumni and the wider community to provide a welcoming and healthy environment.
Under the direction of Ulrike Gross, Assistant Vice-President: Physical Resources, the department consists of six functional units:BUSINESS AND FACILITIES OPERATIONS
Manages the following functional areas: Customer Service, Facilities Operations, Grounds & Custodial Services, and Utilities/Energy Management.
Coordinates Facilities Operations at the Brantford Campus
Coordinates parking and transportation resources at the Waterloo Campus.
Manages the planning, design, and construction of Laurierís physical assets, supporting and enhancing the student, academic, research and administrative environs of Laurier.
Manages Laurier's real estate and property development requirements.
Assesses and develops sustainability practices including transportation, waste, energy, water, construction, procurement, food, conservation and academics, and ensures these practices are integrated into all areas of the university.
